Dear OMs, here you can find some news from The Gambia 2011 DXpedition. We will try to update it daily also from Gambia, dependent on our internet connection. See you in pileups...de Radio Syd Contest Group.

• November 18th - OM's are getting ready to fly to the Gambia again. This time with almost no baggage. Just one additional PA, some spare parts and consumer materials. All other stuff remained in the Gambia. There are also some changes in the contest crew. New team members Jano, OM2IB, Vitek OK5MM and Zdenek OK1DSZ replaced OK1DIX, OK1DO and OK1RK who couldn't take part in the CW part for various reasons. So far so good. No bad news from the Gambia.

• Apology to all OMs for not updating this page during the CQ WW SSB. There was a lot of work, problems with baggage and customs and very little time...
  We will put the story here later.

• October 1st 2011 - Nice hot weekend. The whole team is working on preparations for the expedition. It seems like we have more than 1 ton of material. We are fools....

• July-August 2011 - we put together 12 operators
