Is there any way if getting a message through to the C5 operators that the band opening to east coast VK (VK1,VK2, VK3, VK4, VK5 and VK7) on the low bands is from 1900z to 1930z. Sunrise ranges from 1900z to 1930z at this time of the year, so by the time the operators have been coming up on 80mx and 160mx at 2030z and later, the band has well and truly faded out. Strangely, the operators on 80 and 160 have been calling for JA/VK which suggests they don't realise that the band has already closed at that time to VK east coast. The only VK area possible would be VK6, which has its sunrise around 2130z. Cheers Peter VK3QI

Hi Rich, Bob and Rado. This morning I was copying C52C on 1840 SSB at 57 up to 15 minutes after my sunrise (SR 2129Z). Unfortunately there was no way Asia/VK6 could work you through all the Europeans calling. Please could you try 2045Z until 2145Z on 160m CW for JA/Asia/VK6?

Nice operation. I was able to get a 30m CW QSO in my log. Loud signals here and great CW ops on your end. I worked The Gambia years ago on SSB but am now a 100% CW op so needed this for CW.

Nice work into Northern California this afternoon. 73!

Only chance for east coast VK on 80mx and 160mx is at 1900z till 1930z. Our sunrise is 1915z. We were able to hear you on 3798 19/10 at this time, but too many EU stations calling. Today (21/10) at 2000z on CW 3505.4 was too late and your signal had already faded out. Conditions over south geomagnetic pole have made things difficult. We will be hoping for a 80/160 qso during the week. Cheers.

Great 160m signal yesterday - many thought you were a slim. Operator was not the best I've heard but he handled the pileup very well. Stations were amazingly polite. Good luck to all!

So far fine operation. BUT: Why going by numbers, especially on higher bands where condx aren´t constant? I was now waiting one houre to have Nr.7´s turn. Right then, condx down. Next problem: It isn´t helpful to already acknowledge the next stn´s call while not yet finished the one before. When do you want someone to call you? Normally once the other QSO is completed, when you call\"QRZ\". But not \"XX9XX, UR 59. AND NOW YY7 PLEASE, UR 59\". This way of operation is minimizing the chance for people who are patient enough to wait till \"QRZ\", but increasing the chances for the guy who will always be calling, even if it is not their turn yet. I hope next time on 12 M, the op will be more skilled than it was the case on 20OCT at abt 1135Z. I don´t wanna give you a lesson, but this way of operation is absulutely unfair!
